Is Bowers Ink a traditional publisher?

No.

Bowers Ink is not a traditional publisher and does not take ownership of an author's work.

Authors publish their books themselves (for example through KDP or other platforms) and Bowers Ink provides:

• promotional support
• author visibility
• imprint branding for approved titles
• inclusion in the Indie Author Directory

Do authors keep their rights and royalties?

Yes.

Authors maintain:

• full ownership of their books
• full copyright control
• 100% of their royalties from all platforms.

Bowers Ink does not take a percentage of book sales.

How does a book get approved for the Bowers Ink imprint?

Authors submit their book through the Book Approval Form.

Books are reviewed to ensure they meet the quality and professionalism expected from the Bowers Ink imprint.

Once approved, the author receives:

• permission to use the Bowers Ink Publishing imprint
• inclusion in the Indie Author Directory
• promotional rotation on Bowers Ink platforms.

Does Bowers Ink publish books?

No.

Authors publish their books independently.

Do authors have to change their existing publishing platform?

Authors continue publishing their books exactly as they normally would. Bowers Ink does not require authors to move their books to a different platform.
